The Barista is primarily responsible for taking orders, preparing beverages, and serving guests at Portside Coffee & Gelato. This position is also responsible for cleanliness and safety of coffee & gelato shop areas of the property. Compensation &

Responsibilities:
- Deliver an amazing guest experience with fast and friendly service when taking orders and processing payments.
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, with the ability to answer questions and make suggestions.
- Prepare and serve beverages consistently adhering to all recipe standards.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
- Keep designated service stations clean and organized.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory.
- Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems.
- Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.
- Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift.
