Job Summary:
The Beertender is primarily responsible for providing friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive service to guests at the bar at Dockside at Portside Pier. This position will be responsible for describing, selling, and pouring brews/ wine and some cocktails, serving as an “expert” on Ketch Brewing, the Portside Pier property, and our products. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beverages consistently adhering to all recipe standards.
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed guest service expectations.
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, with the ability to answer questions and make suggestions.
- Take orders, serve bar patrons, and process payment.
- Keep designated service stations clean and organized.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory.
- Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems.
- Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.
- Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift.
