BrightBee is partnering with Melvindale Northern Allen Park Public Schools to hire dependable, safety-minded School Bus Drivers to join help start our students' days with a smile.

As a School Bus Driver, you are more than just a driver—you are a vital part of a child’s educational journey, ensuring they arrive at school safely, on time, and ready to learn. If you love working with children, enjoy being on the road, and want a schedule that offers excellent work-life balance (holidays off!), we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time role including paid time off and benefits including medical, dental, and vision.

📅  Schedule

• Monday- Friday
• 6:30am- 9:15am and 2:00pm - 4:45/5:00pm
• 7hrs/day

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Basic Requirements

• Possess a valid Michigan driver's license, and a safe driving record.
• Successfully passed the State of Michigan CDL road and written tests with P and S endorsements.
• Ability to pass MDOT physical examination. 
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Must be at least 21 years of age. 
• Good To Have:
  • Previous school bus or commercial driving experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable attendance and reliability
  • Ability to remain calm and make safe decisions in changing situations
  • Passion for working with students and supporting schools

Prior to working with students, you will need to pass a background check, livescan and may need to obtain other necessary testing/clearances and provide us with authorization to contact former employers..  Rest assured, we will guide you through the process!

Please note, assignments may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
