Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant with deep SAP ABAP and Webdynpro expertise to drive end‑to‑end technical delivery within the S/4 HANA environment. The role involves crafting robust ABAP programs, enhancing existing functionality, building Webdynpro applications, and providing production support while ensuring alignment with best practices and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance ABAP objects, reports, BAPIs, IDOCs, and Webdynpro components for S/4 HANA projects.
- Perform detailed debugging, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.
- Create and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems using ALE, RFC, and OData services.
- Lead technical migration and upgrade activities from ECC to S/4 HANA.
- Conduct performance tuning and code optimization to meet SLA targets.
- Prepare technical documentation, functional specifications, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide on‑site and remote production support, including incident management and problem resolution.
- Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and peer‑review processes.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP Webdynpro (ABAP) and S/4 HANA technical stack.
- Proven experience with enhancements, interfaces, debugging, and production support.
- In‑depth knowledge of ABAP OO, BAPI, IDOC, ALE, and OData services.
- Experience in performance tuning, code reviews, and SAP NetWeaver administration.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery models.
- SAP certification (e.g., ABAP, S/4 HANA) preferred.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
