Corporate Advance Specialist

Summary/Objective

The Corporate Servicing Advance team member is responsible for the processing and payment of all servicing related expenses (i.e: attorney, maintenance, repair, etc). The team member is also responsible for direct communication between BSI and various vendors and clients. 

Essential Functions

• Provides timely and accurate information to clients and vendors in regards to servicing related expenses and payments
• Work within multiple systems to process and pay invoices; this may include systems such as Fiserv & LPS (Invoice Management)
• Entering invoices into our companywide database
• Retrieve information from LPS to provide to client on weekly basis
• Monitor invoicing system for older or rejected items and re-process daily
• Responsible for the timely collection of funds from our clients and/or processing refunds when necessary
• Responsible for timely payment of attorney invoices
• Set up new vendors in companywide database
• Maintain/update invoice and billing files
• Daily interaction with vendors and clients regarding status on payments of invoices
• Daily processing of rush items for clients (Items that need processed same day)
• Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies

• Work Environment

  This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines. Ability to sit for long periods of time is essential. 

  Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  This is a temporary full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of Accounts payable process 
  • Proficient in use of Excel, desktop computer, and other Microsoft Office Products 
  • Experience in dealing with vendors, preferred
