Customer Service Officer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join our Customer Service team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension at the conclusion of the contract. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing prompt, accurate and effective responses to a diverse range of queries including stock availability, product information, customer enquiries, service issues, customer and consumer feedback.

What's the Scoop?

• Receive, validate and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to customer and consumer enquiries and feedback via phone and email, maintaining accurate records and following matters through to resolution.
• Investigate consumer claims and maintain open claims in the relevant systems.
• Support 3PL inventory management and work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve product, delivery and service issues.
• Providing high level Customer Service support, striving for continuous improvement

What You'll Bring:

• 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably within FMCG or another fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Resilience and confidence to independently navigate challenging customer conversations, with a calm and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy, particularly when processing orders and maintaining customer information.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• A team-focused approach that reflects our core values, with a commitment to supporting colleagues and delivering positive customer outcomes.
• Confidence using technology and learning new systems including AI tools. Experience with Microsoft Office or ERP/order-processing systems such as SAP will be beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work an 8:00am-5:00pm rotating roster as well as the availability to work on selected Victorian public holidays.
