BVN is looking for a thoughtful and creative Graphic Designer to join our Brand & Communications team. Working across our global studios, this is an opportunity to shape how we share our projects, ideas and culture through digital design, motion and visual storytelling.
Reporting to the Design Lead, you’ll bring strong graphic design foundations, experience taking ideas from concept through delivery, and a curiosity towards applying emerging tools and technologies. Alongside creating compelling communications, you’ll help develop templates, resources and workflows that enable the practice to communicate with greater clarity, consistency and ease.
Role responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Engagement team to develop campaign concepts for social media and events, translating project stories into engaging digital and print content.
- Create motion graphics, animations and video content that bring BVN’s projects, people and ideas to life.
- Work with the Design Lead to maintain and evolve BVN’s visual identity and brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across communications.
- Provide brand and design guidance across the practice, supporting Principals and Studio Directors with project, business development, conference and studio documents, and the Submissions team with bid documents, awards boards and graphics.
- Help improve design workflows and develop reusable resources that make everyday production easier for the B&C team and broader practice.
Your experience includes:
- Independently managing design projects from brief to delivery, with clear communication and attention to detail.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout and visual storytelling, including digital campaigns and motion design.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects/Premiere, with experience in animation and video editing.
- An appetite for improving graphic production workflows through automation AI-assistive tools, making design tasks more efficient and accessible to colleagues.
- An interest in architecture and the built environment. Experience communicating architectural projects, diagrams or complex ideas would be valuable.
