We are looking for an Offshore Electrical Technician to join BW Offshore's Offshore FPSO - Catcher.
The position is part of the offshore Maintenance Team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the power plant, electrical distribution system, and Power Management System
• Perform condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the maintenance management system
• Maintain emergency power systems and ensure electrical equipment retains the required Ex rating
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as required
• Ensure compliance with SEMS, Permit to Work requirements, and safe working practices, including safe management of vendors and contractors
• Prioritize maintenance activities to ensure safety-critical backlog is kept to a minimum, coordinating work with other departments as necessary
• Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, daily logs, reports, and comprehensive shift handovers
• Participate in emergency response, safety drills, training, and on-the-job development, including supporting new colleagues and trainees

Experince:

• Offshore UK and FPSO experience is desirable but not essential
• 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Substantial Oil and Gas experience may be used as a substitute for formal qualifications
• Previous work in a multinational environment is desirable
