<p style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%;">Midwife</p><div><br></div><div>C-Care is currently recruiting a dedicated and proactive Midwife, passionate about improving patient care, to join C-Care Darné.</div><div><br></div><p style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><a rel="noreferrer">Reporting to Maternity Supervisor, the selected candidate will </a>p</span>rovide advice, care and support for women, their partners and families during the pre-conceptual, antenatal, intranatal and postnatal periods.

Modern maternity practices provide a 'woman-centred' approach allowing for choice and continuity of care. Work involves caring for newborns, providing health education and parenting support.</p><p style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%;"><br></p><p style="line-height:115%;"><strong><u>What you will be doing:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Diagnosing, monitoring and examining women during pregnancy</li><li>Providing counselling and advice pre and post screening</li><li>Offering support and advice following events such as miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, neonatal abnormality and neonatal death.</li><li>Supervising and assisting mothers in labour and monitoring the condition of the foetus;</li><li>Providing advice and guidance on a safe and timely transfer home.</li><li>Liaising with paramedical and medical practitioners to ensure continuity of care.</li><li>Taking responsibility for and engaging in professional development to meet PREP (post-registration education and practice) requirements.</li></ul><p style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%;"><strong><u>What are we looking for?</u></strong></p><ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li style="line-height:107%;">Diploma in General Nursing and at least 5 years’ experience.</li><li style="line-height:107%;">Team player with excellent customer care skills.</li><li style="line-height:107%;">Ability to cope with a busy environment.</li><li style="line-height:106%;">Computer Literate.</li></ul>
