<p style="text-align:justify;">C-Care is currently looking for an <strong>IP Pharmacist</strong> to be based at C-Care Darne</p><p style="text-align:justify;"><br></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><br></p><p style="text-align:justify;">Pharmacist</p><p style="text-align:justify;"><br></p><p style="text-align:justify;">Reporting to the <strong>Supply Chain Operations Manager</strong>, the selected candidate will work in compliance with Pharmacy Act and Dangerous Drugs Act as well as internal procedures and policies and deliver the best to all customers.</p><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong><u>What you will be doing:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Manage the full inpatient dispensation cycle from the prescription collection, associate check and analysis and dispense while respecting dosage and strict quantities to be administered</li><li>Be responsible for all drug-related quality control i.e. check of prescriptions, regular audit on drugs dispensed against prescription, root cause investigations when deviations are identified</li><li>Coordinate regularly and to be informed of availability of drugs and communicate accordingly to Doctors, especially in case of shortages to collect their alternative</li><li>Be responsible for preparing the chemo protocol and bring it to the Oncology unit for administration, after having reviewed and reconciled prescription and drugs to be administered</li><li>Record prescriptions as per legislative requirements</li><li>Supervise and control the ordering, storage, dispensing, handling and packaging of medicines to ensure safety, efficacy and quality thereof</li><li>Supervise and guide Pharmacist technicians</li></ul><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong><u>Relevant Work Profile?</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor of Pharmacy</li><li>Knowledge and dosage of Pharmaceutical products</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in related field</li><li>Good communication skills</li></ul><p style="margin-left:.25in;text-align:justify;"><strong> </strong></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Location: </strong>Floreal, Mauritius.</p>
