Resident Medical Officer

<p style="text-align:justify;">Reporting to the Head of Medical Services, the Resident Medical Officer (RMO) is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, supporting senior medical staff, and ensuring the effective delivery of healthcare services. The RMO will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and maintain patient safety.</p><div><br></div><div>We are recruiting for the following department : </div><div><br></div><ul><li>ICU</li><li>Obstetrics and Gynaecology</li><li>Paediatrics and Neonatology</li><li>Wards</li></ul><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><strong><u>What you will be doing:</u></strong></div><ul><li>Complete a brief admission examination on each patient when appropriate and document clinical findings.</li><li>Attend ward rounds with the consulting staff, as required, and be available to discuss patient treatment plans.</li><li>Provide a 24-hour medical service within the Hospital on an on-call basis permanently.</li><li>Inform admitting consultants of changes in medical condition of patients and of relevant action taken.</li><li>Follow the instructions of consultants for their specific regime for each individual patient.</li><li>Perform clinical procedures as requested by consultant medical staff these may include phlebotomy and the giving of intravenous drugs to patients.</li><li>Initiate and alter in-patient prescriptions at consultant’s request.</li><li>Visit patients as required at the request of the nursing staff.</li><li>Visit all in-patients daily and document in clinical notes.</li><li>Planning of discharges on consultation with Specialist Doctors.</li><li>Be fully involved in CHKS implementation.</li></ul><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong><u>What are we looking for?</u></strong></p><ul><li>MBBS or equivalent from any recognised university.</li><li>3 year working experience</li><li>Registration with Medical Council    </li><li>Pro-active self-starter</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li></ul><div><br></div>
