OVERVIEW Cadrex is searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise and assist in the activities related to building/facility and equipment maintenance in the areas of plumbing, lighting, carpentry, painting, cleaning/custodial, grounds keeping, security, building appearance, and equipment and machinery repair and servicing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product while minimizing overtime and call-in hours Develops, implements, and maintains a preventative maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery. and maintains records and documentation on work performed Arranges for and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed Investigates and researches new machinery and/or equipment and makes recommendations for purchases Manages the local transportation of products to customers and suppliers Conducts forklift certification and license training for staff Oversees the building cleaning and janitorial duties of company staff Enforces sound safety and housekeeping practices May be responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed
