Hourly Wage: $19.00/hr.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilites and challenging behaviors, to relieve family members from daily living activities.
- Implement behavior management strategies including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
- Engage with the client through activities that they enjoy.
- Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent triggers for behaviors.
- Provide crisis intervention with the client’s safety in mind.
- Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.
Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- Ability to pass a background check, live scan, and reference check
- Current TB test, Physical, CPR and First Aid certification (valid within 30 days of hire)
