Product Owner - Data and AI

We're looking for an ambitious, self-aware, and analytical product owner to act as a strategic and operational partner in our Product Organization. As one of the earliest product team members, this person will have a significant influence on the direction of the company through contributions to product direction and execution. The ideal candidate has experience working on product ownership, scrum management or business analysis or has strong QA functional experiences, creative and analytical approaches to problem-solving, and is excited to bring clarity to our growing feature sets through research, data, and insights.

Core Responsibilities: 

• Understand end-user needs, defines product features and stories, coordinates activities across teams to meet quality standards for story definitions, sprint deadlines and business objectives. 

• Activities include: Writing stories for all features, leading sprint ceremonies, and owning QA’ing the product and end-to-end responsibility of features from definition to roll-out. 

• Recommends long-term product plans (i.e., roadmaps) by working alongside with engineering, marketing, clients, prospects, operations, legal and others. 

• Monitors product utilization and identifies trends to drive optimization.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, marketing, business administration or related field, 1-2 years of experience as a Product Manager or a similar role in an Agile, Scrum, Kanban or similar software application development and/or project management team environment, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.

• Customer facing digital subject matter expertise with experience working on small features of software applications.
