Overview
Under general supervision and working closely with check clerk lead. Processes data entry transactions. Scanning checks, filing checks, and mailing checks. Performs other clerical duties as requested
Responsibilities
- Performs scanning of return checks
- Performs filing of return checks
- Performs data entry processes into a database
- Performs assigned tasks and projects
- Verifies and corrects information,
- Ensure complete and accurate data entries into system
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Processes special and recurring reports
- Mental qualifications include ability to enter data accurately, prepare reports and maintain records
- Monitors email boxes, inboxes, and other systems to fulfill requested services
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Will be required to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to use a keyboard and sit for extended periods of time. Mental qualifications include ability to follow directions and communicate appropriately and effectively with staff and customers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Office and Database Systems
- Knowledge of customer service concepts and practices
- Knowledge of basic systems as needed
- Skill in oral and written communication
- Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications, including database
- Must be detail oriented and have good organizational skills
- Ability to efficiently follow-up to find missing information
- Ability to multi-task. Ability to take and follow direction
