The End Line Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the mechanical End Line equipment.
Essential Functions/Key Deliverables
- Ensure overall production of machines and quality according to specification sheets.
- Perform basic repairs on End Line equipment.
- Check accuracy and quality of finished ends.
- Locate and clear basic jams that may occur on the machines during production.
- Correctly read and interpret messages/statuses on the control panels.
- Assist with regular servicing and problem solving regarding machinery.
- Actively support the maintenance team during line changeover.
- Train or assist other employees on the daily practices of production related duties, such as but not limited to, product changes, housekeeping and visual quality checks.
- Perform any reasonable duties assigned by the management staff, corresponding with the role.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Basic knowledge of the shell press, liners and conversion press.
- Good Mechanical aptitude is a must.
- Experience in a Manufacturing facility a plus.
- Basic knowledge of US measurement.
- Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to organize own work.
- Basic knowledge of computers.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair is a plus.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environment protection regulations.
