Provide senior-level administration and technical support for Windows, Linux/UNIX, and other specialized RDT&E computing environments.
Configure, administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure desktops, servers, workstations, and associated IT infrastructure.
Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, patching, and lifecycle support.
Support the establishment, accreditation/authorization, maintenance, documentation, and decommissioning of IT systems and enclaves.
Implement and maintain system security configurations, security patches, access controls, backups, and other cybersecurity requirements.
Monitor system access and support remediation of identified vulnerabilities, discrepancies, and security-related deficiencies.
Assist with Information Assurance/Information System Security activities and may perform duties associated with IAO/IAM and CSA/FSA responsibilities when designated.
Support software approval, configuration management, device control, and other Directorate-level IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
Provide technical assistance to end users and resolve complex hardware, software, operating system, network, and application issues.
Coordinate with Government and contractor personnel to ensure systems remain compliant with applicable Air Force and DoD policies and technical requirements.
Support periodic system backups and recovery activities to protect mission data and maintain system availability.
Provide technical recommendations for system improvements, modernization, interoperability, and configuration changes.
