    Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) is seeking a Peripheral Vascular Disease / Peripheral Interventional Fellow in Lafayette, LA.

    • 63 Physicians
    • 59 Advanced Practice Clinicians
    • 43 Interventional Cardiologists
    • 14 Non-Invasive Cardiologists
    • 6 Electrophysiologists
    • 21 locations across Louisiana and Mississippi
    • 9 telecardiology sites

    Peripheral Interventional Fellowship at CIS

    The program is led by Dr. Craig Walker, a nationally recognized leader in peripheral vascular intervention and the founder of CIS. You will gain advanced peripheral vascular training within a large, established cardiovascular organization, providing exposure to a broad range of complex peripheral vascular diseases and interventions.

    This program is ideal for an interventional cardiologist who wants to expand their procedural skill set, deepen their expertise in peripheral intervention, and prepare for a long-term career focused on advanced cardiovascular and peripheral vascular care.

    Fellow Highlights

    • Fellowship led by Dr. Craig Walker
    • Advanced training in peripheral vascular disease and peripheral intervention
    • Learn within a nationally recognized peripheral interventional program
    • Training within an established, physician-led cardiovascular organization
    • Interventional schedule includes hospital, clinic, and OBL/ASC procedures
    • Exposure to complex peripheral vascular disease and advanced procedures
    • Opportunity to learn alongside experienced interventional cardiologists
    • Strong clinical infrastructure and dedicated APC support
    • 24/7 Virtual Care Center support, with APCs taking first call for physicians
    • Access to 9 telecardiology sites
    • OMS electronic health record
    • Supportive administration and experienced clinical teams
    • Exposure to multiple hospital systems throughout Louisiana and Mississippi

    Qualifications

    • Successfully completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
    • Enjoy working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment
    • Have completed a U.S. residency program
    • Are eligible for Louisiana medical licensure
    • J-1 visa sponsorship is available
      • H-1B visa sponsorship is available
