UI/UX Designer Job Description
CareAxiom is seeking a talented and driven UI/UX Designer to join our fast-paced team. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and accessible user interfaces that enhance the experience for our senior users.
What You’ll Do
- Design user interfaces and experiences in Figma, leveraging our existing (and evolving) component libraries.
- Work on fast-paced projects, delivering clear, developer-ready designs within short timeframes.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to understand requirements and ensure design feasibility.
- Balance speed with quality, ensuring designs are accessible for seniors and user-friendly.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio demonstrating web or app interfaces.
- Proven ability to work quickly without sacrificing clarity or usability.
- Comfortable using and contributing to component libraries/design systems.
- Proficiency in Figma (must-have).
- Awareness of accessibility best practices and ability to apply WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards throughout the design process, as well as a commitment to inclusive design.
- Ability to manage your own workload in a fast-moving environment.
