POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will participate in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products and operate machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Minimum Requirement
- Five (5) CSEC subjects including English Language, Mathematics and at least one science subject,
- Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position or environment,
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science, Pharmacology or a related discipline would be an advantage
Required Skills, Behaviour and Competencies
- Sound knowledge of product handling and current Good Manufacturing Practices
- Knowledge of processing techniques and production processes
- Proficiency in the use of computer software applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Good dexterity and vision
- Ability to operate production equipment
- Initiative, Problem solving & decision-making skills
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
Special Conditions:
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves standing, walking, and lifting raw materials.
- The incumbent will also be involved in carrying, pushing and pulling.
