Carpenter Co. is seeking a dependable and detailed-oriented 1st Shift Material Handler to join our Fiber Filtration manufacturing division in Temple, Texas. Serving as a critical link in our supply chain, this position is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials to support continuous production operations. This role demands strong communication skills, as the incumbent will interface daily with department supervisors and production personnel to maintain safety, quality, and output standards.

Position Description

• Stacking fiber bins and fiber bales;
• Loading fiber bales in the openers;
• Manual lifting and shifting of fiber metal roll-bar weighing about 40 lbs;
• Learning all the positions to rotate breaks
• Must have basic reading, writing, and math skills

Skills/ Requirements

• High school education or GED;
• Heavy lifting and/or shifting of material, etc.
• Prior machine experience working in a manufacturing plant is preferred;
• On the job training will be provided.
