Scope of Responsibility
Lead change. Drive results. Build customer success. We're looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of customer-driven product changes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with customers, engineers, and business leaders to manage projects from initiation through launch, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Shift: Day shift
Target Pay: The target starting base salary for this position is $70,470.00 - $104,649.00/year (plus quarterly bonus incentive). Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Cascade Engineering considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
General Responsibilities
- Ensure that safety is a priority for all activities related to the project
- Key stakeholder for understanding and managing expectations of the customers
- Owns the project and is the clear leader for mobilizing both internal and external resources
- Initiates and maintains CR and CN processes in Teamcenter
- Leads and coordinates project meetings and tracks all open issues with both internal and external customers
- Works with Account Managers to manage cost and quote changes to Customers
- Tracks and controls all project costs
- Plans and Schedules project tryouts, as needed
- Involves Project Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Material Engineers, Process Engineers, CES, Plant Managers, Finance, Sales & Purchasing as needed with project activities
- Understands quality goals as defined by the customer and leads activities to meet these goals
- Leads project reviews that provide appropriate status, and updates for cost, timing, and risk management
- Provide status updates to senior leaders
- Develops and implements corrective action plans when deviations from budgets and/or schedules are evident
- Assures a timely closeout of completed or canceled projects to ensure that all obligations are satisfied, and project documentation is properly recorded
- Oversee engineering activity and provide engineering input
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

- Bachelors of Science in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering or related fields
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering fields
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- Detail oriented individuals with good organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Microsoft Project
- Ability to function independently in customer setting
Preferred
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- MBA or Master's Degree in Engineering related field
- 3 + years of experience in manufacturing or engineering and program management
- Automotive, Office Furniture, Solid Waste and Recycling experience
- Intermediate injection molding knowledge (incl. materials, design, tooling, and processing)
