Accounting &amp; Month-End Closure</h3><ul><li><div>Manage day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.</div></li><li><div>Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.</div></li><li><div>Prepare and review journal entries, provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other accounting adjustments.</div></li><li><div>Perform GL scrutiny and ensure timely closure of open items.</div></li><li><div>Ensure books are maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.</div></li></ul><h3>2.
Reconciliations &amp; Financial Reporting</h3><ul><li><div>Prepare and review bank, vendor, customer, GST, TDS, and other balance sheet reconciliations.</div></li><li><div>Investigate and resolve reconciling items and aged balances.</div></li><li><div>Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports for management review.</div></li><li><div>Prepare schedules and workings for financial statements.</div></li><li><div>Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.</div></li></ul><h3>3.
Statutory Compliance</h3><ul><li><div>Manage and review GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.</div></li><li><div>Coordinate with tax consultants and ensure timely filing of returns and payments.</div></li><li><div>Track statutory dues and proactively address potential interest, penalties, or compliance gaps.</div></li><li><div>Support tax assessments and related queries.</div></li></ul><h3>4.
Audit &amp; Financial Statements</h3><ul><li><div>Coordinate with statutory auditors and support completion of annual audits.</div></li><li><div>Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.</div></li><li><div>Track audit observations and ensure timely closure.</div></li><li><div>Assist in the preparation and finalisation of financial statements and notes to accounts.</div></li><li><div>Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders on accounting matters.</div></li></ul><h3>5.
Accounts Payable &amp; Receivables</h3><ul><li><div>Oversee vendor accounting, invoice processing, and payment-related accounting.</div></li><li><div>Monitor customer receivables and support collection reconciliations.</div></li><li><div>Ensure timely reconciliation of customer and vendor ledgers.</div></li><li><div>Review credit notes, outstanding balances, and ageing reports.</div></li></ul><h3>6.
Controls &amp; Process Improvement</h3><ul><li><div>Strengthen accounting processes and internal financial controls.</div></li><li><div>Identify opportunities to automate repetitive accounting and reconciliation activities.</div></li><li><div>Develop and maintain SOPs and accounting checklists.</div></li><li><div>Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for financial transactions.</div></li><li><div>Identify accounting risks and proactively highlight issues to management.</div></li></ul><h3>7.
