Essential Duties:
- Responsible for ensuring employee safety and by modeling, setting and enforcing safety, identifying unsafe conditions or acts, correcting the condition, and implementing solutions to avoid future potential for similar situations.
- Directs the activities of employees engaged in production work.
- Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Must have strong technical and problem solving skills.
- Exercise good business judgment in making decisions with the long-term interests of the Company in mind.
- Deal effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people and situations.
- Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business information.
