    A leading provider of rolling stock, infrastructure and advanced technologies for global rail customers. The company delivers locomotives and engines, trackwork, signaling, fasteners, and comprehensive locomotive and freight car services, along with aftermarket parts and recycling. Its technology portfolio includes data analytics, automation, connected assets, predictive maintenance and yard optimization tools.

    About the role

    Reporting to the Sales and Operations Manager, Indonesia, you will act as the key interface between Progress Rail and our customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery while supporting strategic growth objectives. You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Planning, Commercial, and Finance functions to deliver successful contract outcomes and long-term customer partnerships.

    About You

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related discipline.
    • 7-10 years' experience in account management.
    • Strong experience in contract negotiations, and Rail industry.
    • Demonstrated experience managing import/export operations and international logistics.
    • Proven success delivering cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
    • Previous leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
    • Experience working with ERP and inventory management systems.
    • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving capability.
    • Professional procurement or supply chain certification.
    • Experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
    • Knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and international logistics requirements.

    Responsibilities of the Position

    • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across assigned accounts.
    • Drive revenue growth through account development and identification of new sales opportunities.
    • Lead commercial management of customer contracts, including renewals, variations, pricing adjustments, and scope changes.
    • Prepare and deliver monthly contract reports, customer reporting packs, budgets, and long-term capital plans.
    • Develop and execute account growth strategies to increase profitability and market share.
    • Analyse contract performance and identify opportunities for operational and commercial improvement.
    • Lead customer meetings and present executive-level business reviews.
    • Partner with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Finance teams to support strategic customer initiatives.
    • Provide mentoring and functional leadership to Account Managers, Asset Planners, and support personnel
