Your Work Shapes the World at Caterpillar Inc.

When you join Caterpillar, you're joining a global team who cares not just about the work we do – but also about each other.  We are the makers, problem solvers, and future world builders who are creating stronger, more sustainable communities. We don't just talk about progress and innovation here – we make it happen, with our customers, where we work and live. Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.

As Payroll Finance Integration & Transformation Manager, you will lead the connection between Payroll and Finance, ensuring payroll data flows accurately and efficiently to Tax, Treasury, Accounting, and other downstream stakeholders. What You Will Do:

    • Govern the end-to-end payroll-to-finance process, ensuring payroll information is accurate, timely, and usable by Tax, Treasury, Accounting, and other downstream stakeholders.

    • Simplify and modernize how payroll data moves across the organization, reducing manual effort and improving data quality.

    • Champion automation, standardization, and stronger controls to reduce risk and improve efficiency.

    • Partner with Finance leaders to resolve operational challenges and implement scalable solutions ensuring payroll accounting, reconciliations, funding activities, and compliance requirements are executed accurately and effectively.

    • Serve as a key leader in the company's multi-year global payroll transformation, helping shape future-state processes and technology solutions.

    What You Have:

    • Education/Experience: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or related field.

    • Strong knowledge of payroll accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, controls, and compliance requirements.

    • Experience leading process improvement, automation, or transformation initiatives.

    • Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a global environment.

    • Experience governing end-to-end payroll-to-finance processes and driving operational efficiency.

What Will Set You Apart :

    • Working knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll and FINS strongly desired.

    • Experience supporting global payroll transformation initiatives.

    • Experience implementing scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls.

    Additional Information:
