Learning Support Teacher (3 days per week approx. 24 hours per week)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support learning for students in grades K5-8th.
- Differentiate math and literacy instruction, support, and interventions to students who need additional assistance.
- Deliver instruction in small groups or one-on-one settings (both push-in and pull-out sessions).
- Provide in classroom support as needed
- Monitor student progress, especially those with ISPs, to ensure academic success.
- Administer Ark and AimsWeb testing for grades K5-8th grades three times per year as well as for incoming students.
- Support classroom teachers with goal development related to ARK & AimsWeb data
- Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings after school
- Coordinate paperwork and meetings with the teachers and the Rockford Public Schools special services teams for students with ISPs or potential ISPs.
