Position Title: Extended Day Teacher - Grades 1-5 FLSA: Non-Exempt
Department: Extended Learning FTE: 0.5; 10.0 months
Reports to: Extended Learning Director
Range: $22-25/hour
The Extended Day Teacher for Grades 1-5 designs and leads activities after school for our Lower School students. This teacher is familiar with progressive education, with an interest in experiential learning and emergent curriculum. The Extended Day teacher works in collaboration with the Extended Day team to foster an inclusive, caring environment that promotes independence, agency and the development of social emotional skills.

SCHEDULE
The Extended Day Teacher’s work hours are 2:00-6:00pm Monday-Thursday, and 1:00-6:00pm on Friday. If available, the Extended Day teacher may work from 9:00am-5:30pm when Day Camps are in session.
