Senior SEO Manager

Cato's Product Marketing team is seeking a highly experienced SEO, AEO, and GEO leader with a proven track record in cybersecurity to define how our brand is discovered, understood, and trusted across traditional search and emerging AI platforms.

What You’ll Own

SEO Strategy & Organic Growth

• • Define and lead our global organic search strategy.
  • Drive technical SEO, content strategy, information architecture, and digital authority.
  • Identify opportunities across the cybersecurity buyer journey, from problem discovery through vendor evaluation.
  • Connect organic performance to qualified traffic, pipeline, and revenue.

Answer Engine Optimization

• • Optimize content to be easily understood, surfaced, and cited by answer engines.
  • Build scalable frameworks around buyer questions, search intent, entities, and topical authority.
  • Establish measurement for our share of answers across priority topics.

Generative Engine Optimization

• • Define our strategy for visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI experiences, Copilot, Perplexity, and emerging AI platforms.
  • Understand what drives brand mentions, citations, and recommendations within generative AI.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities across content, PR, analyst relations, product marketing, and brand.
  • Build measurement for AI visibility, citations, and share of voice.

Technical SEO Leadership

• • Serve as the senior authority on technical SEO across the organization.
  • Partner with web, engineering, UX, analytics, and content teams.
  • Guide site architecture, crawling, indexing, structured data, performance, migrations, and international SEO.
  • Translate technical issues into clear business priorities.

Measurement & Intelligence

• • Build an integrated measurement framework across SEO, AEO, and GEO.
  • Track rankings, share of search, share of answers, AI citations, competitive visibility, and pipeline impact.
  • Monitor changes in search and AI discovery and translate them into actionable strategy.
  • Establish clear benchmarks and executive-level reporting on organic and AI discovery performance.

What You’ll Bring

• 20+ years of experience in search and digital strategy.
• 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and Networking/Cloud Security industries.
• Demonstrated ability to translate organic visibility into measurable business impact.
• Proven track record of SEO strategy ownership and creation.
• Team player mentality with ability to partner with web, engineering, UX, analytics, content teams, and other internal collaborators.
