2026-10-02 11:59 PMCBC North is looking for an experienced Host for The Weekender, our weekend morning radio program broadcasting to audiences in the Northwest Territories and Yukon. Reporting to the Managing Editor, the Host is responsible for finding, researching, preparing and presenting interviews, packaged items and weather as well as operating and directing for the program.
You will join our team of current affairs producers and associate producers based in Yellowknife. You’ll be working in a deadline-driven environment, while adhering to CBC's Journalistic Standards and Practices. You may also be asked to contribute to our other English-language radio programs: The Trailbreaker, Trail’s End, and Northwind.
