Role/ Title: Sr. Developer

Role Variant: Application Development (Back-End)

1.      Role Purpose (1–3 lines): Performs the development and optimization of secure, scalable, and high-performance‑performance backend systems. Builds robust APIs, microservices, and integration components while driving engineering best practices and ensuring reliability across enterprise-grade applications. 

2.      Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and integration services for large-scale applications

·       Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through code quality and database tuning.

·       Implement microservices architecture using modern frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Java Spring Boot).

·       Integrate authentication, authorization, and data security mechanisms into application backbones.

·       Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end, cloud-ready solutions.

·       Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive resolution improvements.

·       Focus on continuous learning and emerging trends.

3.      Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

·       Code quality and test coverage metrics

·       Application uptime and performance efficiency

·       Defect density and resolution time

·       API response time and throughput improvement

·       Delivery timeliness and stakeholder satisfaction

2.      Qualifications & Experience:

·       Degree: Graduate / Professional Degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Information Technology.

·       Years of experience: Graduate – 6 to 8 years

·       Relevant experience: 5+ years

3.      Key Interfaces:

·       Internal: Collaborates with Front-End, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and QA teams for integration, testing, and deployment alignment. Works closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and Security teams to ensure architecture consistency and compliance with coding standards.

·       External: Coordinates with client IT team, technology vendors, cloud service providers, and integration partners for performance optimization, issue resolution, and technology upgrades.
