This position partners closely with leadership to align HR strategy with the organization’s long-term vision and broader organizational goals. Combining high-level strategic planning with a hands-on approach to operational excellence, the HR Manager ensures full-cycle talent management, regulatory compliance, and a supportive, engaging workplace culture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with the executive leadership team to align human resources strategy with the organization's broader strategic goals.
    • Manage the full-cycle recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes, ensuring a high-touch, welcoming experience for new hires and seamless transitions for departing employees.
    • Serve as an accessible, trusted resource for daily employee inquiries and partner directly with leadership as the primary escalation point for high-risk employee relations issues, internal investigations, and termination decisions.
    • Provide strategic oversight and execution of the comprehensive organizational benefits portfolio (including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, COBRA, SmartDollar, and 401k), managing annual renewals and third-party vendor relationships.
    • Provide dedicated coaching and guidance to department leads regarding leadership development and complex team dynamics.
    • Oversee day-to-day benefits administration, monthly billing reconciliation, and HRIS administration, while serving as the primary HR liaison to the Finance department for accurate payroll data transmission.
    • Protect the organization against employment liability by maintaining strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, regularly auditing HR practices, updating the Employee Handbook, and overseeing independent contractor vetting, personnel files, and leave administration.
    • Oversee the end-to-end design, execution, and continuous improvement of the annual performance review process, equipping managers with necessary tools and documentation.
    • Cultivate a vibrant workplace culture by driving employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal team-building events.
    • Manage day-to-day technology logistics, acting as the primary internal liaison for the third-party IT vendor.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or Executive HR Certification (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) strongly preferred.
    • Proven capability to drive macro-level human resources strategy (such as integrating with EOS frameworks) while successfully managing hands-on, day-to-day administrative operations.
    • Advanced expertise in handling sensitive employee relations issues, conducting thorough internal investigations, and navigating federal, state, and local compliance and risk mitigation.
    • Strong background in the strategic oversight of comprehensive corporate benefits portfolios, vendor renewals, and technical administration of HRIS platforms.
    • High emotional intelligence with demonstrated success coaching department heads through complex team dynamics and driving organization-wide culture initiatives.
