- Adherence to product configuration rules.
- Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation.
- Design for manufacturing of 3D CAD models (composite or metallic materials).
- Develop CAD models in support of testing and certification activities.
- Ensure the compliance with project requirements and quality processes.
- Evaluate inputs to ensure an adequate selection of materials, treatments and production techniques for each application.
- Generate Bill of Materials in support of the production and purchasing/logistics process.
- Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems.
- Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as:
- The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status;
- Provide work estimates and projections;
- Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs.
- Reduce overall costs by applying a lean philosophy to processes and choice of design solutions.
- Academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx, Solidworks), MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar tools.
- Proven experience in the development of components/products.
- Good knowledge of materials and production techniques.
- Good knowledge of structural sizing analyses’ techniques and concepts.
- Fluent in English.
- Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential.
