<div><strong>Duties and Responsibilities. </strong></div><div>Reporting to the Nursing Officer in Charge (Theatre) the main responsibilities for the Job are: -&nbsp;</div><div>
- Carries out a full pre-operative assessment of patients.&nbsp;</div><div>
- Inducts, adequately maintains, and monitors safe conduct of anaesthesia technique.&nbsp;</div><div>
- Gives injections, drugs, infusions, and transfusions with accurate recording.&nbsp;</div><div>
- Performs aseptic and preventative measures including adherence to infection prevention and control policy.&nbsp;</div><div>
- Ensures anaesthetic equipment is in good working order.&nbsp;</div><div>
- Accounts for supplied stocks at the end of each shift.
Qualifications:
&nbsp;</div><div>
- Diploma in General Nursing
- Diploma in Anaesthesia&nbsp;</div><div>
- Counselling certificate or diploma will be an added advantage.&nbsp;</div><div>
- Valid Practicing Certificate from the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><strong>The Ideal Candidate Must Have: </strong></div><div>
- 3 years post qualification experience in nursing with experience in administering anesthesia.&nbsp;</div><div>
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills&nbsp;</div><div>
- Strong client-focus

- Flexible and adaptable, contributing to a positive team environment.&nbsp;</div><div>
