Graduate Trainee - Agronomy

<p style="margin-right:23.3pt;text-align:justify;">Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position for a Graduate Trainee that has arisen at Cell Insurance (Private) Limited in the Agronomy Department.</p><p style="margin-right:23.3pt;text-align:justify;"><br></p><div><strong>Reporting to the Agronomist</strong><strong>.</strong></div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>The main responsibilities of the Graduate Trainee are:</strong></div><div><br></div><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Underwriting of farming portfolio and issuing policies and endorsement.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Ensuring adequate & correct reinsurance placements for all portfolios as per reinsurance treaty and authority levels.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Expanding the agriculture portfolio by acquiring new business opportunities.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Maintaining relationships with existing clients and prospective clients.</p><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Qualifications: </strong></div><div><br></div><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">A BSc Honours Degree in Insurance and Risk Management plus a Diploma/Degree in Agriculture is an added advantage.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">At least 2 'A' Levels.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">5 ‘O’ levels.</p><div><br></div><div><strong>Experience:</strong></div><div><strong> </strong></div><div>The Ideal Candidate Must:</div><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:9.15pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Have at least 1-year relevant experience with exposure to underwriting and business development.</p><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:9.15pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Have good understanding of insurance products including agriculture covers.</p><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:9.15pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Be a good team player.</p><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:16.05pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Have excellent client relationship management, communication, and sales presentation skills.</p>
