Accounting Technician (IRFS 16)

This position supports the department leader in IFRS 16 processes and controls across all Group companies.

Main Responsibilities

Monitoring of the following accounting processes related to IFRS16:
✓ Execute and review the IFRS16 lease term calculation for the monthly accounting close.
✓ Prepare the report for the discount rate calculation and monitoring its update in the system.
✓ Monitor and control of activities related to the IFRS 16 executed by A&A-BPO.
✓ Perform and document the defined controls at each accounting close.
✓ Support the local Site Management teams in terms of IFRS 16 module of SAP RE.
✓ Maintain and review the reports used for IFRS 16 management (rates, payments, contract by period, etc. ).
✓ Review IFRS 16 adjustments at each month end reporting period for all Global entities.
✓ Support the disclosures required by the standard for the financial statements (half-yearly and annual).
✓ Interact with the assigned IT provider for the IFRS 16 module maintenance functionality in SAP
RE.
Organization, procedures and manuals:
✓ Prepare detailed activity manuals, procedures, processes and control matrixes for the IFRS 16
Corporate Department.
✓ Definition, together with Management Control area, of a calendar for the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing, indicating the activities corresponding to each month end compliance dates and those responsible.
✓ Update Corporate manuals for Site Management users relating to the operation and reporting in SAP RE of the IFRS 16 module.

✓ Participate in the process of establishing and standardizing accounting policies of the Cellnex
Group.
✓ Interact with the Group's external auditors in relation to the financial audit of the IFRS 16 of the Group.
✓ Coordination with, Global IT, external consultants, Global Site Management and Integrations
Dept to ensure timely and efficient implementation of all IFRS 16 aspects in the timeframe stipulated in the accounting standards.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

✓ Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics or similar.

✓ Software Tools:

MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Must-have Advanced
