Delivery Driver

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week

Salary: Salary of £26,676 per annum** (pay increase pending)

Summary of Role

MWI Animal Health, part of Cencora, is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our Stoke team!

This role is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of animal health products to veterinary practices and customers across the region. Acting as a key representative of MWI, you will provide excellent customer service while ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily delivery routes in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
• Deliver animal health products to customers within agreed timeframes.
• Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure accurate loading, unloading, and handling of deliveries.
• Maintain all delivery documentation and records accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with customers.
• Adhere to all road traffic legislation, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
• Support operational requirements within the depot when required.

Skills and Knowledge

• Full UK driving licence with a clean or acceptable driving record.
• Strong awareness of road safety and driving regulations.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily delivery schedules.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
• Ability to accurately complete delivery paperwork and records.
• Basic IT literacy and confidence using handheld devices where applicable.

Desirable

• Previous experience as a multi-drop or delivery driver.
• Experience working within a logistics, distribution, or healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of the local Stoke and surrounding areas.
• Experience providing customer-facing support or services.
