Accounting Assistant

Position Purpose: Apply all cash receipts into various systems and databases. Assist all major functions of the company including Accounts Payable and Billing.

Key Details: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.

Candidates must reside within the continental United States, with preference given to those located in the Tampa, Florida area. Candidates residing in the Tampa area may be expected to attend onsite training and work onsite; candidates residing outside the Tampa area will not be required to commute to the office.

• Apply all payments received using the appropriate systems
• Enter manual billing information
• Update Accounts Payable check requests logs
• Analyze various reports including aging activity, accounts receivable credits, days sales outstanding and cash to revenue
• Assist with semi-monthly billing

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of accounts receivable or payable, accounting, or finance experience. 1+ years in medical cash posting or line item posting. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Pay Range: $15.87 - $27.25 per hour
