HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Central Minnesota Mental Health Center (CMMHC) is seeking a proven leader to serve as the Behavioral Health Practitioner within our Crisis Program in St. Cloud. A Mental Health Practitioner is responsible for home, community and residential-based mental health services to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis. All practitioners work under the direction of a Mental Health Professional.
The duties may include but are not limited to:
Complete assessments and develop treatment plans
Provide mobile outreach and residential services
Answer the mental health crisis line and provide phone intervention as well as triage for other needed referrals and services
Coordinate services with other programs and providers
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
4,000 hours working with those with mental health, developmental disabilities, or chemical dependency diagnosis: which can be part- time over several years or 2 years full time.
Or
Holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or related fields and completes a practicum or internship or employment that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields (2,000 hours).
Or
Holds a master’s degree or another graduate degree in behavioral sciences or related fields.
