    Job description

Join Cera as a Care Assistant in Andover & Allon

You’ll be supporting us on our mission to transform social care and help more people live longer, healthier, and happier lives in their own homes.

Are you kind? A people person? Love making a difference in people's lives? Then we have the perfect role for you as a Carer—where you’ll genuinely make a difference every day. No experience required!

We’re recruiting part-time and full-time Care Assistants to support our clients at home. Opportunities are available in Andover & Allon and surrounding areas.

Requirements: You must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle. Shifts are flexible—mornings, days, evenings, and nights—and you’ll usually have every other weekend off to support work-life balance.

    Our benefits include:

    • Enhanced bank holiday rates
    • Holiday pay and pension scheme
    • Free DBS/PVG, company mobile phone, and uniform
    • Access to our BHN Extras benefits & discounts platform
    • Eligibility for the Blue Light Card Scheme—thousands of discounts on shopping, food, dining, and family activities
    • Exclusive savings on driving lessons, fuel, insurance, car maintenance, cycle hire, and more
    • Enhanced maternity (12 weeks full pay), paternity, and parental leave policies
    • Career development pathway including Care Certificate and NVQs—50% of salaried roles filled internally
    • Wellbeing support: employee assistance programme, mental health first aiders, healthcare cash plan, free eye tests, and glasses contribution
    • Referral bonuses through Care Friends—£400 per referral

    Join Our Caring Community

Whether you’ve worked professionally in care, supported a loved one, or simply enjoy helping others, your compassion and kindness are exactly what we need. We’ll provide all the training you need to succeed.

    Your responsibilities may include:

    • Personal care (continence support, washing, dressing)
    • Medication management
    • Cooking and preparing meals
    • Domestic support

But your greatest impact will be in the companionship, reassurance, and joy you bring to those you care for.

Cera makes caring easier with Cera Tech

We’ve modernised homecare with technology that streamlines admin tasks and improves outcomes. Our predictive tools and risk alerts help care teams act quickly—reducing hospitalisations and fall risks. You’ll spend less time on paperwork and more time caring.

If you’re looking for a truly rewarding role where your presence brings comfort and smiles, apply today!

Please note: This role requires a DBS check and the right to work in the UK. We are an equal-opportunity employer, celebrating diversity and fostering inclusion. Due to the provision of intimate care, this vacancy is restricted to women only, in line with client preferences.
