    At Aristocrat Berea Healthcare & Rehabilitation, (Cleveland suburb of Berea) we believe meaningful moments can happen anywhere. We’re looking for an energetic, compassionate Activities & Life Enrichment Assistant who loves connecting with people and creating experiences that make our residents feel valued, included, and at home.

    Your standard work week that includes 8-hour shifts and every other weekend, will be filled with moments to remember:

    Games & Group Activities – Help residents laugh, compete, participate, and have fun. Conversation & Companionship – Sometimes the most meaningful activity is simply sitting down and listening. Music, Memories & Special Events – Help create experiences that encourage residents to reminisce, celebrate, and make new memories. Hobbies & Interests – Encourage residents to rediscover favorite pastimes and explore new ones. Teamwork – Partner with our Activities Director to prepare and lead engaging activities throughout the community.

    Responsibilities

    • Complete daily activities as listed on our community calendar
    • Interact with residents to encourage engagement in ongoing activities in the community
    • Assist the Activities Director in preparing and leading activities in the community
    • Assist with documentation of participation in offered activities

    Requirements

    • Prior experience in an activity related or customer service focused position
    • Strong skills in communication
    • Experience with leading a group of people
    • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
    • A Degree or education in Recreation, Recreational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Teaching, or Arts is a plus!
