Summary

As the Maintenance Director at Candlewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will oversee the maintenance operations of our healthcare facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both residents and staff. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining high standards of facility management and supporting our mission of providing loving care.

Minimum starting pay rate for the position is $26 an hour; pay rate is negotiable based on experience.

The typical schedule for this opportunity is Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Start and end times are flexible based on community need. This position is a part of the community management team and will take part in the manager on duty weekend coverage rotation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all maintenance staff and operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility repairs to ensure operational efficiency.
• Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and enhance resident satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement or repair.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities management or maintenance leadership roles, in long term is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for effective maintenance tracking.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in facility operations.
