Responsibilities:
Route Planning & Dispatch
- Prepare and distribute daily collection schedules and routes for waste trucks and drivers.
- Adjust and optimize routes based on customer requests, service frequency, and traffic conditions.
- Track vehicle movement in real-time using GPS or dispatch systems to ensure route compliance.
Fleet Management
- Monitor fleet availability, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Ensure that vehicles are serviced, inspected, and roadworthy at all times.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to report and resolve mechanical issues quickly.
Service Coordination
- Communicate daily assignments, changes, and instructions to drivers and field supervisors.
- Ensure waste collection, skip bin deliveries, and roll-on/roll-off operations are executed on time.
- Follow up on missed collections or delays and arrange prompt service recovery.
Customer & Operations Support
- Act as a liaison between the operations team and clients to handle inquiries, schedule changes, and complaints.
- Maintain accurate records of customer service requests, service logs, and collection manifests.
- Support the billing and customer service departments by providing accurate service data and documentation.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, environmental regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Conduct routine checks to confirm that drivers have valid licenses, PPE, and understand waste handling protocols.
