    Shape Transportation Infrastructure as a Bridge Project Engineer — Design, Mentor, and Elevate Structural Excellence

    CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer to join our Bridge Team in Buffalo, NY; Rochester, NY; Syracuse, NY; or Albany, NY, where you will help lead the design, analysis, and delivery of innovative bridge and structural solutions. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of impactful projects, mentor emerging engineers, and play a key role in advancing our technical excellence across a wide range of transportation structures.

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex bridge designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents
    • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines and project management staff
    • Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure
    • Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
    • Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff

    What You Bring:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
    • Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
    • Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
    • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
    • Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

    Salary Range:

    $100,000 - $110,000

    Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
