Childcare Assistant - Overnight

We provide 24/7/365 care for children up to age 12, and this role involves overnight shifts during the week and the occasional weekend days. Pay: Starts at $11/hour with a High School diploma and no prior child care experience; $13/hour with a CDA; $14.50 with an Associate's Degree. Rates increase with education and experience.
Schedule: 6pm-7am for assigned shifts

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint background screening.
• Childcare experience required.
• Passion for working with children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees the care of children when on duty, overnight or weekends.
• Supervises assigned group of children indoors and outdoors.
• Maintains an orderly classroom.
• Maintains a positive and cooperative relationship with all staff, parents, and volunteers of the agency.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Lead Teacher and the Executive Director or Associate Directors of Extend Child Care.
