Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and implementation support of tactical communications systems and applications.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical system support, including needs analysis and proposal generation design Address Government technical design questions and issues Demonstrate expertise in communication system topologies, including conventional tactical communications systems (e.g., OTAR, trunking, data), microwave, VoIP, and IT architectures Support design of sites, systems, and technical solutions to meet operational requirements per technical standards and DHS direction Perform propagation modeling, simulation, and CAD analysis using tools such as Comarco/EDX, Hertz Warfare, and Spectrum-E Support equipment integration, testing, optimization, and deployment Evaluate emerging technologies and provide engineering recommendations to minimize cost and improve performance
