CHC is hiring Patient Service Professionals to check in patients as they arrive for their appointments.

Wage range for this role is $16.50-$23/hr.
Patient Service Professional Duties are listed below:
- *Registers patients in a timely manner while reviewing the chart for accurate demographic, privacy, UDS information and ensures all required forms are completed.
- *Requests payment at point of service.
- *Prints daily schedules for department and reviews charts for necessary paperwork, Medicaid eligibility, and patient intake needs.
- * Makes appointments only when necessary to support nurses and providers.
- *Assists patients in completing required forms.
- *Answers incoming calls for the department.
- *Collects all paperwork from patients and checks for completeness before giving to Medical Records to be scanned.
- *Applies payment to the patient accounts according to procedure.
- *Performs “end-of-day” procedures including printing reports and balancing the cash bag. Checks to see that all patients have been cared for and restocks supplies.
PSP Requirements:
--Strong customer service and data entry skills.
--Insurance experience, (Medicaid, Medicare, Private Insurances)
--Experience in a medical/reception office preferred.
