The Professional Services Delivery Manager supports the organization by managing a team of consultants. Creating and executing of efficient personnel management plans is the primary responsibility for the Delivery Manager. Assist in improving existing project delivery processes and procedures, maintaining a high-level of customer satisfaction, improve technical and soft skill training for the consultants and help in hiring new candidates.
This position focuses on finding and implementing practical ways to enhance our service offering. Manage the team to delivery projects with a high level of expertise, in a timely manner, providing the highest value for our customers, and maintaining good communication throughout the delivery process.
- Create and execute efficient personnel management plans
- Keep consultants utilization at a high level to meet annual objectives
- Improve the skills of our Professional Services consultants
- Maintain and increase the technical certification of the consultants on the team
- Maintaining a good relationship with all customers
- Strive to continuously improve our current service offerings
- Help develop additional service offerings to enhance our value
- Manage customer escalations
- Always strive to improve the project delivery process and reporting structure
- Have 1:1 meetings with your consultants
- Identify challenges, current and future needs with skills, promotion, and role changes
- Be a key player by sharing your opinion and thoughts on management discussions
- Be proactive and innovative
- Help with consultant recruitment and hiring
- Experience in managing a team of technical consultants or engineers
- Strong customer service, project management, and quality control skills
- Good resource planning skills
- Excellent leadership and customer service skills
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to details
- Experience with Check Point products is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Good experience using standard business applications and software
- Ability to manage conflicts and have better decision-making skills
- Capacity to train team members
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
