The Cheddi Jagan International Airport Corporation (CJIA) is inviting suitably qualified and motivated individuals to apply for the position of Maintenance Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general maintenance tasks across the airport premises
- Support routine inspections, minor repairs, and upkeep of facilities
- Work collaboratively with the Maintenance and Operations teams
- Respond promptly to assigned maintenance requests or tasks
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly used and maintained
Requirements:
- Must be physically able-bodied and capable of performing manual tasks
- Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit
- Completed secondary school education
- Basic computer literacy would be considered an asset
- Prior experience in general maintenance or related work would be advantageous
