    Job description

    CULTIVATE A BETTER WORLD

Food served fast does not have to be a typical fast-food experience. Chipotle has always done things differently, both in and out of our restaurants. We are changing the face of fast food, starting conversations, and directly supporting efforts to shift the future of farming and food. We hope you will join us as we continue to learn, evolve, and shape what comes next on our mission to make better food accessible to everyone.

    THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior Analyst, People Operations - Training Compliance, you will play an important role in monitoring and improving completion rates of regulatory and critical compliance trainings, including Food Safety, Code of Ethics, and Preventing Harassment. You will own and continuously improve reporting, data quality, and analytical support and serve as the subject matter expert for critical compliance training areas. You will leverage your proficiency with reporting and data analysis, particularly in Excel and PowerBI, to identify opportunities and work with the People Operations team to execute necessary follow-up actions. You will play a pivotal role in driving a culture of development, compliance, and accountability across the organization; collaborating with functional leaders to ensure employees receive the necessary training to meet company standards, individual development plans, and legal requirements. While initially focused on Compliance training reporting and learning systems, this role will also support additional People Operations reporting, systems, and process-improvement priorities as departmental needs evolve.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Serve as the primary reporting resource within Compliance for Workday Learning, actively monitoring mandatory regulatory and critical compliance training across job levels and organizational populations.
    • Develop, maintain, and improve recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and reporting tools using Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, and other approved platforms, for both training compliance and broader People Operations needs.
    • Analyze population, assignment, completion, and timeliness data to identify trends, exceptions, root causes, control gaps, and translate findings into prioritized recommendations.
    • Reference current and archived learning system information as needed to support accurate reporting, audits, and issue resolution.
    • Prepare clear, concise reporting, data visualizations and presentations for senior leadership and functional leaders on the status of routine and unique mandatory training compliance initiatives.
    • Actively contribute to the enhancement and refinement of compliance training monitoring processes.
    • Partner with functional leaders to understand departmental training compliance goals, build tracking that drives accountability, and foster a culture of compliance across the organization.
    • Support People Operations priorities beyond training compliance, including data quality and routine audits, process documentation and improvement, and reporting or system support as departmental needs evolve.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
    • 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources, Employment Compliance, Data Analysis, or a related role or field.
    • Restaurant or retail experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (e.g., Docebo, Workday Learning), Human Resource Information Systems (e.g., Workday), and Case Management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerBI skills including large data sets, dynamic arrays, and data visualization are required.
    • Experience with workflow optimization tools (e.g., Alteryx) preferred.
    • Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with deadlines.
    • Proven ability to anticipate issues, solve problems, then recommend, design, and implement solutions.
    • Ability to perform and remain organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes to help ensure compliance programs remain up to date.

    PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $75,000.00–$106,500.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education. Chipotle offers a competitive total rewards package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, sick leave, vacation time, and much more.
